Ali Lee doesn't want to think about winning TV Queen

14 Dec – Although drama fans have been floating her name around as the next actress to win TV Queen at the upcoming TVB Anniversary Awards, Ali Lee would rather not think about it at all.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media at an outdoor event recently, laughed when asked about her chances, saying, "Don't ask me about it. I'm worried that it would turn into pressure. A lot of people around me have been supporting me and I am afraid of letting them down."

Ali also added that knowing how much people cherish her and her performance was even more precious than winning an award.

"But I do hope the fans will not just support me quietly, but instead take some action," she said.

When asked if boyfriend Danny Chan voted as well, Ali smiled and said that she forced her boyfriend to upload the voting app immediately.

It is noted that Ali was a favourite to win TV Queen in 2017 for her role in "My Ages Apart", but lost to Natalie Tong. This year, she will be facing stiff competition from actresses like Alice Chan and Mandy Wong.
