Ali Lee denies being courted to leave TVB

29 Sep – Ali Lee has recently dismissed rumours that she is set to leave TVB to join former executive Sandy Yue in her rumoured new job.

As reported on Mingpao, the TVB actress, who was allegedly among Sandy's favourites back when the latter was in top management, stated that she was unaware of the news that the said executive will be returning to cable television and produce shows for the likes of ViuTV.

"I have no direct contact with her, and my contract with TVB is still intact for a few more years," she said.

Ali also stated that she has not heard about Eric Tsang's supposed promotion as the General Manager of TVB's programming, saying that she rarely pays attention to such reports.

"The transfer of senior management has little effect on me, and I will not suggest to Eric what I should do or want to do because even I don't know what I am good at. If the company feels that I am suitable to do a job, I will do it and do my work well," she said.

Among TVB artistes who are reportedly being courted to join Sandy include Priscilla Wong, Tony Hung, and Luk Hao Ming.
