Alfred Hui to release new album in October
22 Jul – Despite the pandemic causing the halt of live performances, Alfred Hui revealed that he is set to release his new album soon.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who went on a radio station to promote his new song, "Negative" recently, shared that he is planning to launch his new record in October with hopes that the pandemic will subside by that time.
Speaking about the aforementioned song, which will be part of the new album, Alfred said that "Negative" was composed in response to the current situation - in hopes of bringing positive energy to everybody.
"The song tells us that everybody will be negative during this time, but that we should always find the positive in the negative," he added.
As to whether he will be holding another concert, Alfred stated that he has already done it last year and didn't expect that the environment would be so different in 2020.
As for his dental clinic, the certified dentist stated that he will only maintain limited services in order to reduce risks of the coronavirus seeing that the cases have been spiking for the past few days.
"I will concentrate on recording new songs for now," he added.
