Alex Gonzaga anounces marriage to Mikee Morada
18 Jan – Alex Gonzaga has recently tied the knot with boyfriend of four years, Mikee Morada.
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the actress shared the good news on social media on 17 January with a photo of the two in their wedding attire, writing, "Netizens, we are married!"
Sharing the news on her YouTube channel, Gonzaga revealed that the two of them have actually tied the knot in November, but decided to keep mum about it at first so that they could celebrate it as a family first.
"We just wanted to keep it to ourselves for a little while to celebrate," she said.
Gonzaga also stated that their wedding was more for their parents, as they were uncertain what would happen in the times of the pandemic and would rather seal the deal while everybody was around.
The actress also assured that she will show what happened at their wedding in another video.
"I will show you that soon, what really happened at our wedding. We just wanted to thank our family because the moment we said we are gonna get married, they were all very supportive. The immediate family, they came here," she said.
However, Gonzaga did share some clips from their wedding in the same video, including their wedding vows, adding that they are planning a bigger wedding this year.
The lovebirds announced their engagement back in January last year.
