Alessandra de Rossi denies "12" is like "One More Chance"

The actress says that the new movie delves into the more private issues in long-time relationships

17 Oct - Alessandra de Rossi has recently dismissed the similarity between her new movie "12" and the 2007 Cathy Garcia-Molina hit, "One More Chance".

As reported on Rappler, the actress, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the movie's original soundtrack, shared that her new movie revolves around the relationship between a long-time couple, Anton and Erika, whose romance arrives at a dead end after 12 years together.

"[The question here is] what if you give, but always end up with nothing? In other words, what if you have nothing to give anymore?" she said.

Despite the similar premise of her movie to the Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz starrer, de Rossi stated that "12" deals with more sensitive topics.

"In "One More Chance", they have friends who can give them advice, and they can argue or fight in public. In this movie, the two people [don't want even the neighbours to hear]," she said.

At the same time, de Rossi stressed that not everything about the movie is based on herself, despite being the one who wrote it.

"There are so many people around me who went through it, whether they're close to me or not. You will see that all relationships have the same problem in the movie," she added.

"12" is set to be released on 8 November.
