In news guaranteed to bring on that Fri-YAY mood, Aldi is selling bottles of prosecco for just £3.99.

To celebrate getting through the week, the budget-friendly supermarket chain has slashed the cost of its Castellore Prosecco Frizzante from £5.49 – which means you’re saving £1.50 on every bottle of fizz you add to your basket.

According to the Mirror, Aldi’s latest offer steals the top spot for the best purse-friendly bubbly on offer this weekend with Iceland’s La Gioiosa Prosecco following closely behind at £5.

But Aldi isn’t letting the weekend fun stop there, as the chain has also reduced the cost of its Castellore Prosecco Spumante DOC from £5.99 to £4.99 so you can save those extra pennies for some extravagant aperitifs (or hot cross buns).
