Alden Richards happy with good response to new collaboration
4 Apr – Kapuso star Alden Richards recently admitted that he is thankful for all the good response given by fans for his upcoming collaboration with Kathryn Bernardo.
As reported on PEP, the actor, who is set to star in a new movie alongside the Kapamilya darling, stated that he has received mostly positive reaction from netizens, although there are still a few who were unhappy about it.
"Even [Boy Abunda] commented that it's a fresh team-up. I am looking forward to it," he said.
When asked how he reacted the first time he found out that he will be working with Bernardo, Richards said that he was surprised and pleased that the actress agreed to do the movie with him.
"Kath has done a lot of successful projects, so it is an honour for me to work with her," he said.
On the other hand, the actor admitted that he has been studying Cantonese and reducing his weight for the upcoming movie, which will begin shooting in Hong Kong this month.
