Alden Richards denies "Victor Magtanggol" ending abruptly

15 Nov – Alden Richards has recently denied rumours that his Kapuso series, "Victor Magtanggol" is being cut short now that it is nearing its conclusion.

As reported on PEP, the actor, who spoke about the fantasy series recently, stated that there is no truth to the rumours at all, as the show had actually been extended earlier.

"It was not cut short. It was actually extended a few weeks. Of course, I would love to continue extending it, but it's not possible," he said.

He also expressed sadness over the series finally concluding its run, adding that he would love to work with the team again in his next project.

"They are different. I mean, I don't think anyone else can do the job if they don't. So I am happy I had the opportunity to be working with Al Tantay, especially with Ms. Coney Reyes. Overall, I am happy," he said.

The upcoming last episode will be aired on 16 November.
