Alden Richards admits to have received death threats

28 Sep - Alden Richards has clarified his father Richard Faulkerson Sr.'s recent statement that he has received death threats from his son's bashers.

According to PEP News, the actor, who seemed calm when asked about the threats, admitted that he himself has been facing quite a number of life-threatening situations.

"I have asked for the GMA Artist Center and the [National Bureau of Investigation] to do something about it. We've been taking actions with regards to that," he said.

However, Richards does believe that the threats are not serious, adding that there is always a 90 percent chance the people who threatened him wouldn't do anything about it.

"There are a lot of people like that in the social media. It's very easy to make threats like that. But so far, we've been very careful with that and we're just taking extra caution," he said.

He reiterated that the issue has been submitted to the NBI.
