Albert Yeung says Gillian Chung is fine
16 Jul - Albert Yeung recently assured that everything is fine with Gillian Chung, whose marriage with Taiwanese aesthetician Michael Lai was revealed to have ended back in May.
As reported on Mingpao, the Chairman of the Emperor Group who made an appearance at the production commencement ceremony of the new movie, "Soon to be Wed" (working title), stated that there is no need to be concerned about the singer, who is living life as usual.
"Right now, Gillian, Joey [Yung] and [manager] Mani Fok are in quarantine in mainland China. They have a commercial performance soon. Gillian and Joey are quarantined upstairs and downstairs, Mani and Joey are next door to each other but can't see one another. So close but yet so far," he said in jest.
It is noted that Gillian has been keeping quiet since Michael announced the separation on social media, and has not been updating her social media accounts since it made the news.
The couple remained married for only 14 months, with Michael claiming that the singer told him that she was unable to fall in love with him.
