Planning a Europe trip through next spring just got easier, as TAP Air Portugal has just released bargain deals for economy and business class.

The airline’s “Black FLYday” sale, which is ongoing through Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 11:59 p.m. ET, has round-trip tickets deals to over a dozen popular European cities. The eligible travel dates are quite broad, extending from Jan. 14 to May 22, 2025, but specifically exclude flights from April 7 to 22.

“TAP has some of the best deals to Europe on sale now through December 4, for travel to Portugal and beyond in the new year,” TAP’s director for the Americas, Carlos Antunes, told T+L.  “And, of course, even our best sales always include our popular Portugal Stopover program where you can enjoy up to 10 days in Portugal en route to any of our destinations in Europe, or on the way home, for no additional airfare.”

TAP Air Portugal is based in Lisbon and uses this hub to connect travelers onward to cities in Europe, Africa, and beyond. Travel + Leisure found the best round-trip fares as part of this sale:

  • Boston (BOS) and Miami (MIA) to/from Barcelona (BCN) and Madrid (MAD): $359

  • Chicago (ORD) to/from Copenhagen (CPH), Paris (CDG), and Stockholm (ARN): $389

  • New York (JFK) and Newark (EWR) to/from London (LHR), Lisbon (LIS), Faro (FAO), Ponta Delgada (PDL), Rome (FCO), and Seville (SVQ): $429

  • San Francisco (SFO) to/from Barcelona (BCN) and Madrid (MAD): $399

  • Washington, D.C. (IAD) to/from Milan (MXP): $429

Those looking to fly in a comfortable, lie-flat seat can take advantage of fares starting as low as $2,199 in business class to Lisbon from any of the major U.S. cities listed above. This summer, the Star Alliance carrier plans to add even more flights, operating nearly 80 weekly flights between the U.S. and Portugal.
