Airbnb and Rapper Big Boi Are Giving Fans the Chance To Live Like a Hip Hop Legend
In celebration of Black Music Month, Atlanta musician Big Boi has partnered with Airbnb for a very special collaboration. The six-time Grammy winner and OutKast rapper is inviting fans to stay at the iconic Dungeon Family house. Located just south of downtown Atlanta, the Dungeon Family house — specifically the basement — is where OutKast and members of The Dungeon Family collective jump started their storied music careers.
“Atlanta is my home, and I grew up with The Dungeon Family in this house," said Big Boi. "We would spend hours hanging out in the basement, writing rhymes and putting together beats at all hours of the night. Since purchasing the home, I’ve been excited to open its doors and welcome the next generation of artists to the space that inspired countless songs.”
The "newly remixed house," which Big Boi previously purchased, will only be available to rent for three overnight stays (June 29, July 1 and July 3) for only $25 per night (excluding taxes and fees). Airbnb will begin taking bookings for the home beginning Friday, June 25 at 1:00 PM EST.
Although quaint, the home features a state of the art in-home studio, outfitted with Yamaha audio equipment, pool table and indoor fireplace.
