3 Jan – With two of her songs announced as the finalist for the 36th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL), Aina Abdul recent revealed that she is already planning for her two performances.
On 2 January, the songstress and queen of unconventional costumes took to social media to express her thoughts about her year, saying that 2021 has been challenging yet exciting altogether.
"Praise be to God that two of my songs with my music team have been given the opportunity to compete in the final. My heart is full and happy but the responsibility is even bigger than the two previous years," she wrote.
"Honestly, I am excited and have started thinking the things I should deliver, the kind of arrangements to be presented, and what kind of clothes should I wear, and so many planning," she added.
Aina will be performing her solo ballad "Sepi" in the competition, as well as her duet with Khai Bahar, "Nafas Cinta".
Among the other competitors for the upcoming AJL are previous winners Naim Daniel ("Purnama") and Noki ("Aewo", a collaboration with Shiha Zikir), as well as veteran Noraniza Idris, who will be performing "Intan Payung" alongside rapper Bunga.
