Ai-Ai delas Alas laughs off death hoax
10 Jul – Ai-Ai delas Alas couldn't help but laugh off a death hoax about her, which was reported on a showbiz blog recently.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress shared a screenshot of the article about her, which stated that delas Alas died in a car accident and featured a photo of the actress on the top right of another photo of a team of police surrounding a wrecked car.
"This is fake news. I am alive," she said, adding that there is a saying that a person who dies in the news or dreams of dying will live a longer life.
She then added jokingly, "At least I look pretty in the picture. Otherwise I would get mad".
Last September, it was Gab Valenciano who was reported to have died, which the singer immediately denied. It also angered father and veteran singer Gary Valenciano, who reminded the public not to be deceived by such news.
