Ai-Ai delas Alas: I am already taken!
26 Jul - She may have dubbed herself "mega super single" after the Quezon City Regional Trial Court has granted her petition to divorce and remarry, but it doesn't mean that Ai-Ai delas Alas is alone and lonely.
As reported on Coconuts Manila, the actress recently clarified her original post about being single on Instagram, saying that she is still very much in love with her younger non-showbiz boyfriend Gerald Siyaban.
She explained that her original post was to reveal that although her divorce was finalised in the United States in 2014, she needed to petition for it to be enforced in the Philippines as well so that she could remarry.
"I was laughing because so many people wanted to court me because I'm single again. I am not really single, I have a boyfriend," she said.
Nonetheless, delas Alas stressed that she is not getting married anytime soon, and that the approval only means that it will be easier for her to remarry when the time comes.
