You've developed your mom's oddball sense of humor, her eye shape, and her ability to apply lipstick while driving. But do you have to inherit her crow's feet and wrinkles? We asked Dr. Dendy Engelman, a dermatologist in New York City, to take a look at pictures of our moms to determine just how much we'll really age like her.

Genetics, it turns out, does play a big role in the aging process. A study from 2013 found that aging is not only "determined...by the accumulation of changes during our lifetime but also by the genes we acquire from our mothers." Other factors like skin elasticity, skin tone, and sun and environmental exposure can also play in role in whether or not you'll develop those wrinkles your mom is always complaining about.

Fortunately, Dr. Engelman has plenty of tricks up her sleeve for stopping and even reversing genetic signs of aging. From Botox to lasers - and a poke or two of filler - there are a handful of treatments you can do in your 20s, 30s, and 40s to Benjamin Button yourself. Watch above to see what Dr. Engelman reccomends for five different women of various ages and skin concerns.
