Adrian Wong shares thoughts on mum Leung Kit Wah's passing
28 May – Adrian Wong recently took to social media to express her thoughts about the loss of her mother, former TVB actress, Leung Kit Wah.
The actress shared several photos of Leung on Instagram and wrote, "For the past few years, I feel sorry for failing to respond to my mother's affairs in detail every time, because I hope to reduce the burden for her and fight the cancer demons in a low-key manner! We reduced our entertainment projects and even gave up what we want to do, and we admired the carefree life of others, but we still hoped to spend as much time as possible with her through every difficulty and spend every day simply and happily. Even if no one else is happy during this time, our family was very happy, right?"
Stating that her mother must be happier now in the afterlife after no longer needing to feel the pain and taking her medicine, Adrian promises to be as strong, live well, and take good care of her father, actor Felix Wong.
"I love you very much, my bravest empress, I hope to meet again soon, please come back to be my strong and healthy daughter," she added.
Adrian also thanked everybody for their thoughts and prayers, the medical staff who had been caring for her mother throughout the tough times, as well as blood donors who have saved Leung time and time again.
"Please give us space to deal with my mother's affairs, thank you," she added.
Leung passed away recently following multiple organ failures. The former actress was battling leukaemia for seven years prior to her passing.
