Adrian Wong says mum Leung Kit Wah is doing fine
15 Nov – Hong Kong actress Adrian Wong recently assured everything is well with mother Leung Kit Wah, who was recently rumoured to have fallen ill again.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke about the rumours recently, denied that Leung's cancer has recurred, and that her mother's recent trip to the hospital was only for a checkup.
"After her previous condition, her blood level is more unstable than normal people. So she has to go to the doctors for regular follow-up examinations about once or twice a week," she said.
Adrian stressed that for a former cancer patient, her mother's condition is considered stable.
"If nothing happened after five years, your condition is considered stable. Because of her body's low resistance, she doesn't work now and just stays home," she said.
She also added that her father, actor Felix Wong, has been very attentive to Leung's health and tries his best to keep her company whenever he is free.
