Adrian Wong denies mum's cancer recurred
12 Dec – Hong Kong actress Adrian Wong, daughter of actor Felix Wong and wife Leung Kit Wah, has recently clarified rumours pertaining to her mother's illness.
As reported on Mingpao, Leung, who previously battled leukemia, was recently rumoured to have had a recurrence, which prompted her actor husband to temporarily halt all jobs to take care of her.
However, when asked about it recently, Adrian stated that her mother had actually undergone a bone marrow transplant a few months back.
"It wasn't a recurrence. She underwent treatment at the recommendation of the doctor and has now completed it. They actually suggested that we do it a few years ago, but it was not until this year that we found a matching donor," she said.
Adrian also revealed that her mother is now doing well and resting at home since September.
"I am very thankful to my dad for taking good care of mum while I was unable to do so due to my busy schedule," she said.
