Adidas has released a new version of its TERREX Free Hiker, now with the added benefit of GORE-TEX to keep feet dry even in wet weather.
In addition to the waterproof performance of GORE-TEX, the TERREX Free Hiker GTX combines adidas' signature BOOSTTM technology with a PRIMEKNIT upper for a stretchy sock-like fit which comfortably wraps around different foot shapes. Adidas has also designed the shoe to be lightweight, with the men's model weighing in at only 415g, and to naturally flex with the foot for comfort on long walks. A Continental rubber outsole has been added to provide grip on all terrains.
Its urban aesthetic makes suitable for city life as well as the great outdoors.
"We believe that through sport, we have the power to change lives. As a brand we want to inspire people to spend more time outdoors for better health, happiness, and creativity. Our response is the TERREX Free Hiker GTX so you can get out there, whatever the weather," said Tim Janaway, General Manager, Adidas Outdoor.
The new TERREX Free Hiker GTX was released in stores globally in new colorways on September 2, 2019 and at www.adidas.com/terrex-free-hiker. Styles will retail for $220.
