Adidas designs official match ball for Champions League

Adidas has unveiled the official match ball to be used during the 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League group stages.

The ball features large green stars that join at the points, based on the design of the UEFA Champions League logo, with messages from adidas players on what winning means to them. "Play your life, I play mine," writes Mesut Ozil, while Toni Kroos says, "controlling the game is everything."

The ball will be used on the pitch from September 13 to December 7, and is also available for purchase in certain adidas retail stores.
