Adibah Noor is prepared to be criticised

12 Nov – Adibah Noor will not cower from criticisms, now that she is baring herself to it by participating in the upcoming reality singing competition, "Gegar Vaganza".

The 51-year-old singer, who was announced as one of this season's competitors, stated that she should be brave enough to accept all the opinions from professional critics like Datuk Syafinaz, Datuk Ramli MS and Hetty Koes Endang if she dares enough to be a part of the show.

"I often play the jury in competitions, so now I will have to prepare to be judged myself. I may ignore it if the ones who will judge me are those I consider not up to par, but the permanent jurors are experts in the field, so there is a value to every comment made," she said.

Adibah also stated that instead of being the loud person who "complains a lot", she will try to be a good student this time around.

"Naturally there will be winners and losers. I can't say that I do not have the slightest hope of winning, but at the same time we have to just accept that anything can happen in a competition," she added.

Among the other contestants include Bandi Amuk, Nico, Aweera, Suki, and Indonesia's Upiak Isil.
