Are you ready for another bubble tea chain in Singapore?

Actor Nathaniel Ho, better known as Nat Ho, will be bringing in popular Taiwanese bubble tea brand, Bobii Frutii, to Clementi Mall this month, with prices ranging from $4.90 for kiwi green tea to $6.90 for yogurt and milk blends.

According to The Straits Times, the 33-year-old star is opening the store with a few partners, and is the brand’s ambassador and creative director in Singapore. This is his second venture in the food and beverage industry. Ho previously opened a food stall, Love Bento, at Shaw Tower’s Wild Market food court, which sells healthy meals.

Bobii Frutii has four outlets in Taiwan and China, and according to media reports, queues for the stores can be up to two hours long.

The chain is known for their colourful, “layered”, Instagrammable drinks and distinctive blue pearls, which are made with butterfly pea flowers, with a chewy texture described as “almost like mua chee” by Ho. The drinks also have quirky names such as Don’t Want To Go To Work, which is an oolong milk tea with blue pearls.
