UPDATE 2: Julian has confirmed that he is suffering from a skull fracture after the assault, and has just undergone a CT angiography to monitor the bleeding. He is expected to be warded for a week, although he is “trying to get home sooner”.

UPDATE: Julian Hee confirmed that he is still hospitalised, and will be filing a police report once he is discharged.

The Singapore Police have confirmed that they are investigating allegations made by actor Julian Hee about an altercation at the Old Airport Road Hawker Center, which resulted in injuries.

The police said that they were alerted to a case of voluntarily causing hurt at 1.03pm on 7 June 2017 at 61 Old Airport Road, and that a 39-year-old man was conveyed conscious to Raffles Hospital.

Actor Julian Hee – who starred in Mediacorp shows such as Heartlanders and C.L.I.F – alleged in a Facebook post that he lost consciousness after a man “started hammering” him at the Old Airport Road Hawker Center following a conflict.

Hee said the man had initially knocked into his car after opening his car door into the actor’s vehicle. Hee’s Facebook post said, “I came down and said ‘Come On’! He started a tirade against me and asked me if I see any damage on my car.”

The freelance actor then pointed out a dent on his car, at which point the man started yelling at Hee and calling him an “idiot”. After Hee told the man to refrain from calling him an idiot, the man allegedly pushed the actor and “started hammering” him, causing the actor to black out.
