Action director Toto Natividad has passed away

28 Apr – Toto Natividad, a filmmaker known for his action movies, has recently passed away.

The news was shared by his partner of 17 years, Luz Naraga, who revealed that the director passed away in the morning of 27 April following complications from COVID-19.

It is noted that Natividad was rushed to the San Fernando Hospital back on 20 April due to his condition.

"He was a very kind person, he's just calm and didn't know how to get angry. He was very hardworking, and would personally help and donate to our barangay," said Naraga about Natividad, who had served as barangay captain at North Bay Boulevard South (NBBS) Kaunlaran, Navotas City.

Among Natividad's hit movies included "Ang Siga at ang Sosyal", "Ping Lacson Story", "Wangbu", and "Walang Kokontra". He also helmed ABS-CBN series like "Dugong Buhay" and Coco Martin-starrer, "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano".

He was 63.
