ABS-CBN Films to adapt South Korea's "Keys to the Heart"

28 Oct – ABS-CBN Films' managing director Olivia Lamasan recently confirmed that they are working on a Filipino adaptation of the South Korean film, "Keys to the Heart".

As reported on ABS-CBN News, Lamasan, who spoke to the media about the upcoming project currently in development, shared that Dan Villegas of "Exes Baggage" is attached to direct the movie, which will star Joshua Garcia, Charo Santos-Concio, and Zaijian Jaranilla.

The original film, which was released in 2018, tells the story of a down-and-out boxer (Lee Byung-hun) reconnecting with his estranged, younger brother (played by Park Jung-Min) who is a gifted pianist with savant syndrome.

Garcia will play the older brother in the Filipino version, while Jaranilla will play the younger sibling. On the other hand, Santos-Concio will play their mother.

The cast will also be joined by newcomer Daniela Stranner.

No news as to when exactly that the movie will be released, nor the production date - seeing that all of its cast members are also currently working on other projects.
