20 Mar – ABS-CBN has recently called for the cast and crew of "Love Thy Woman" to undergo self-quarantine, following news that one of its stars Christopher de Leon has been tested positive for COVID-19.

On 18 March, following de Leon's own confirmation on social media, the network posted its official statement on Instagram, which read, "We have advised those who might have interacted with him during the tapings of "Love Thy Woman" in the last two weeks to undergo self-quarantine."

"While we have stopped the tapings of all our teleseryes, we will continue to monitor their situation and provide the necessary assistance and support to those who affected. The safety of our artists, crew, production teams and their families are important to us," the statement added.

de Leon announced his condition on 17 March, saying that he - as well as wife Sandy Andolong, daughter Mica, as well as their house helpers - are now in self-quarantine at home.

"Love Thy Woman" stars Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Eula Valdez, Sza Sza Padilla, and Sunshine Cruz among the many.
