5 Dec – Aaron Kwok's daughter Chantelle is only a year-old, but the Hong Kong superstar is already teaching her the basics of philanthropy.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who attended the launch of Hong Kong's One Click Care, shared that while his daughter may be too little to understand charity work now, he will definitely bring her to such events in the future.
"Right now, I am teaching her to take care of her dolls, to learn about sharing, about acceptance and love. I have a lifetime responsibility to do good things and now that I have a family, it's my duty to teach my children [to do the same]," he said.
Aaron also expressed hope for Chantelle to serve the community when she grows up.
"I, as her father, will be comforted if that's the case," he said.
The "One Click Care" is a project run by the Hong Kong Angelman Syndrome Foundation (HKASF), aiming "to educate the wider community about the differently-abled and encourage social inclusion".
