Aaron Kwok says daughters too young to appear in ads

24 Nov – Aaron Kwok recently stated that he has no plans to get his two children to appear in a film or even a commercial with him at such a young age.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who made an appearance at a press conference of a wealth management brand recently, shared that he is soon to film another commercial revolving around a father-daughter relationship and that the filming team has specially arranged two child actors to play his daughters.

Asked why they didn't use his own children, daughters Chantelle and Charlotte instead, Aaron responded, "They are too young to do that right now. But as to whether they will appear in commercials when they are much older, it is still unknown."

However, he admitted that the older one is quite active and loves acting very much, compared to children of her age.

"It must be hereditary. The day before yesterday, I was driving my car and she sat with my wife and my mother-in-law singing "I Love You Forever". I was so happy when I heard it. That song was the first dance song I recorded and I am still here because of that song," he said.

On the other hand, Aaron revealed that he has recently hired a teacher to teach his wife Moka Fang Cantonese and English during her free time.

"Now when my wife is keeping my daughter company during her classes, she could also study. She is working hard to learn Cantonese," he said.
