Aaron Kwok honoured at National Spirit Achievers Award
8 Dec – Hong Kong Superstar Aaron Kwok recently won the National Spirit Achievers Award's Life in Music accolade.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who appeared at the ceremony held in Shanghai on 6 December, was honoured in recognition of his work in music as well as his persistence and creative spirit.
Said Aaron, "I am very happy with the recognition. I promise to strive to seek more breakthrough and innovation in each and every one of my performances. I will always remind myself not to be complacent."
Previous winner Carina Lau was also present to present the award to the singer.
The actress stated that she admires Aaron's determination and that the singer is the perfect candidate to win the award this year.
Other previous winners include filmmakers Zhang Yimou and Feng Xiaogang, and Chinese-American architect, I.M. Pei.
