Aaron Kwok happy for AFA nomination

18 Jan – Hong Kong actor Aaron Kwok recently expressed delight over being nominated Best Actor yet again at an international awards.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who has been nominated at this year's Asian Film Awards (AFA) for his performance in "Project Gutenberg", expressed, "As an actor, I would put my heart into making each and every one of performances great. To be nominated or win an award would be a great encouragement."

He also thanked director Felix Chong, co-star Chow Yun Fat and the rest of the team for their collective effort.

It is noted that Aaron previously won similar award at the inaugural Hainan International Film Festival.

Aaron will be facing tough competition from the likes of Korean actor Yoo Ah-in ("Burning"), Japan's Koji Yakusho (The Blood of Wolves"), Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor ("Sanju"), as well as fellow Chinese actor Xu Zheng ("Dying to Survive").

The upcoming 13th Asian Film Awards will be held on 16 March in China.
