15 Oct – The cast and crew of the new Hong Kong movie, "Broken Net" are elated that the film has finally completed production.
As reported on Mingpao, stars Aaron Kwok and Gordon Lam recently celebrated the wrap-up by opening several bottles of champagne, saying that they were happy to be able to finish filming nearly half a year since it started.
"The film is very close to life, showing the crisis caused by people's over-reliance on the internet. It also reflects the good and evil nature of human beings hiding behind the internet. This is reality and virtual reality competing with each other," said Aaron.
As for Gordon, the actor stated that he is just relieved that the filming was successfully completed despite the pandemic.
"Although the pandemic had hindered our original schedule, we still get to finish it. I am just very happy," he said.
Directed by Wong Hing Fan and produced by Cheang Pou Soi, the film also co-stars Megan Lai and Michael Ning.
