21 Dec – Aarif Rahman Lee is thankful for the praises he has been getting for his body transformation, but admitted that it was not an easy feat to achieve.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor, who showed off his six-pack abs in Tsui Hark's movie, "The Thousand Faces of Dunjia", shared that he actually started training three years ago, and spent another six months on his harsh exercise regime for the movie.

"Of course, the process was difficult. I trained for an hour or two every day. Even when I started filming, I kept on training," he said.

Said Aarif, it was a dream come true for him to work with Tsui Hark, and that he quickly said yes to the offer after learning that martial arts choreographer Yuen Woo-ping was also helming the project.

"That's why, no matter hard the training was, I didn't have any problem doing it," said the actor, who plays a kung fu expert in the movie.

"The Thousand Faces of Dunjia", co-starring Dong Chengpeng, Zhou Dongyu, and Ni Ni, revolves around a young constable, who discovers a secret society whose members use supernatural powers to protect mankind.
