When you’re looking to reinvent yourself, is there anything better than chopping off all your hair or dyeing it an unexpected color? If we were to ask 50 Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson this question, we have a feeling her answer would be a resounding YES. That’s because, in honor of the fact that she’s finished filming the 50 Shades sequel, Dakota chose to dye her hair the perfect summer shade…
A subtle, multi-dimensional blonde!
Though we’re not sure exactly when Dakota paid a visit to her colorist, the above airport image was taken on July 21st, so she’s been blonde for at least a few days now.
Dakota even decided to share her transformation on Instagram:

“I’ll have an order of Identity Crisis with a side of What’s My Hand Doing, #please,” Dakota wrote, to caption the above selfie. (Yeah… what is her hand doing?)
Though Dakota claims she’s dealing with an identity crisis at the moment, it definitely doesn’t seem that way – because her hairstyle makes her look like a glowing summer goddess. Then again, maybe she’s having trouble stepping away from her character Anastasia Steele, who’s known for her brunette locks?
Either way, we’re now saving Dakota’s photo and getting ready to bring it to the salon.
