Kazbar

Known for their Shisha (before the no tobacco ruling came into place) and Belly dancing, Kazbar is a Middle Eastern-themed bar located on Church street. A substantially large bar menu and the usual favourites such as hummus, pita and lamb chops make Kazbar a popular place to hang out.

The falafels here are made with a mix of lentils and chickpea and lots of garlic. Served with Tahini, which is a sauce made of sesame seeds, much like a watered-down version of hummus, the falafel at Kazbar is crispy and done just right. The falafel also features on their Big Hot Mezzeh Platter which is great for sharing with friends and family.

Fill a Pita

Another vegetarian restaurant makes it to our list. Again this is not a reflection of the food served at Fill a Pita which is ranked as the number one Falafel restaurant in Singapore on Tripadvisor. Owned by an Egyptian, the food on offer is quintessentially Middle Eastern and healthy – vegans take note, this is one for your lists too.

Fill your pitas with the tasty falafels on offer or eat them as a snack dipped in creamy hummus. Whichever way you choose to falafel, it’s going to be good! The Falafel Pita served with tomato, lettuce and tahini sauce remains the best seller.
