4 new restaurants have been listed in MICHELIN Guide Singapore in April 2022

·2-min read

Foodies, rejoice: MICHELIN has announced that they will be adding new local eateries to the MICHELIN Guide Singapore on a monthly basis. This is as opposed to their prior practice of announcing new entrants once annually.

On every third Wednesday of the month, new restaurants added to the MICHELIN Guide will be featured in their website and mobile application. These restaurants will be highlighted with a “New” symbol.

MICHELIN Guide distinctions (Stars, Bib Gourmands, and Green Stars) will still only be revealed during MICHELIN’s annual launch ceremony, which means that new restaurants added to the MICHELIN Guide are not confirmed to be getting MICHELIN Stars and awards, but will be featured in the guide nonetheless.

In April 2022, four restaurants have been added to the MICHELIN Guide Singapore: Butcher’s Block, Fool, Revolver and Wagyu Jin.

First up on the MICHELIN Guide is Butcher’s Block, which specialises in wood-fire cooking, using only the finest meat, produce and seafood. With a wide selection of top-quality dishes like Wagyu Sukiyaki with Smoked Egg Yolk (S$32) and Mediterranean Seabass with Miso Brown Butter Sabayon (S$68), customers can look forward to an avant-garde dining experience.

The next restaurant added to the MICHELIN Guide is Fool, a wine bar boasting an edgy and dynamic selection of artisanal, quality wine. While enjoying drinks from their extensive wine list, you can dig into their delectable food items like their Buttermilk Fried Quail with Sriracha Mayo (S$24) and Westholme Wagyu Hanging Tender 150g (S$58).

Indulge in Revolver’s Experience Dinner Set (S$199++) which consists of eight dishes, including the Boston Lobster Malabar and Gruyère Kulchette with Pulled Duck.

Ending off the new MICHELIN Guide entries is Wagyu Jin, an omakase concept featuring an array of A5 wagyu beef dishes from multiple prefectures in Japan. Helmed by Executive Chef Makoto Saito, Wagyu Jin utilises top quality meat and seafood ingredients. Their seasonal omakase menu features six to eight dishes, like their A5 Yonezawa Beef and Hokkaido Hairy Crab.
