Singaporeans are no strangers to burgers. We all have our fair share of burgers no matter whether they are vegan, from your typical fast food restaurants, atas restaurants, cafes, or just your neighbourhood western food stall at the kopitiam.

Just to make things a little more fun, here are some of the most insane burgers in the world that we at GET.com have gathered for you...a virtual bon appétit?

3 Craziest Burgers In The World You Never Knew Existed

1. The World's Biggest Burger

Regardless of how well you perform at hotel buffets, there is no way you will be able to finish this ridiculously huge burger that weighed 913.54 kg. Created by Black Bear Casino Resort in Carlton, Minnesota, USA, this massive burger was crowned the world's largest hamburger by Guinness World Records on 2 September 2012.

What on earth went into making this burger? Oh nothing, it's just 7.48 kg of bacon, 8.62 kg of pickles, 18.14 kg of American cheese, 22.68 kg of lettuce, 23.81 kg of tomatoes, and 27.22 kg of onions.

2. The Burger With 1000 Slices Of Cheese

Can you believe that the very cheesy burger shown in the picture above came from Burger King? It's definitely not what we are used to seeing on their brightly lit menu, this BK Whopper in Japan had 1000 slices of cheese sandwiched between the usual bun and patty.

Apparently plucky Mr. Sato bought this 12.782 kg burger only a few months after stuffing himself with yet another Whopper adorned with 1050 strips of bacon. I don't know what else to say but yeah, suddenly, our occasional pigging out on cheese fondue doesn't seem that bad.

3. The USD$5000 Burger

Will you take out USD$5000 from your pool of hard-earned money for a burger? This hamburger weighing about 352 kg was created by Juicy's in Corvallis, Oregon, USA in 2011. The hefty price tag does not include fancy wines or champagnes, unlike the USD$5000 wine-paired rendition that Fleur Restaurant in Las Vegas offers. While USD$5000 sounds like (and is in fact) a lot of money to shell out for a burger, it wouldn't be too absurd if you have a massive party to impress and feed at the same time.
