2NE1's possible return to SBS Gayo Daejeon sparks excitement

6 Dec - Following BIGBANG's spectacular comeback at the 2024 MAMA in Japan, it was revealed that 2NE1 may be making their comeback to SBS Gayo Daejeon.

On 4 December, an official from SBS confirmed that they are in talks with the representative of the quartet, saying, "We are currently discussing 2NE1's appearance at 'Gayo Daejun'."

If everything goes well, it would be 2NE1's first performance at the music festival after 10 years since their last Gayo Daejeon performance in 2014.

The group, which disbanded in 2016, recently regrouped, and has been going on tour since October.

The 2024 SBS Gayo Daejun will be held at Incheon Inspire Arena on December 25. NCT's Doyoung, IVE's An Yu-jin, and 2BA2's Yeonjun will serve as MCs.
