‘24: Legacy’ Adds Raphael Acloque & Themo Melikidze

EXCLUSIVE: Fox has added a pair of actors to its upcoming limited series 24: Legacy. Raphael Acloque is set for a regular role and Themo Melikidze will recur on the series that chronicles a race against the clock to stop a terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Starring Straight Outta Compton‘s Corey Hawkins, it will follow the original series’ real-time format.

Acloque will play Jadalla “Jad” bin-Khalid, a bookish scholar who rejected his father’s politics while at university. After his father’s death, Jad embraces his jihadist campaign. Melikidze is set as Khasan Dubayev, the intimidating brother of high school student Amira (Kathryn Prescott) who is intense and worried as he works with his sister in connection with their plans.

Paris-born Acloque recurred on Tyrant, Humans and BBC’s The Secret Agent. Repped by Hamilton Hodell in London, he next appears in the Robert Zemeckis feature Allied starring Brad Pitt. Melikidze’s credits include the features Beautiful Something and Transit 17, and he next appears in Patriots Day as Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev. He is repped by Park Noack Agency and Felker Toczek.

24: Legacy debuts with a two-night series premiere on Sunday and Monday, February 5-6, starting after the Super Bowl. Howard Gordon, Brian Grazer, Manny Coto and Evan Katz executive produce with director Stephen Hopkins and original series 24 star Kiefer Sutherland.
