Will "Joker" win Best Motion Picture?

10 Dec – To be held on 6 January 2020 in Beverly Hills, California, the 77th Golden Globe Awards has released its full list of nominations.

The Joaquin Phoenix-led "Joker" is nominated in four categories, including Best Motion Picture, Best Actor for Phoenix, Best Original Score for Hildur Gudnadottir and Best Director for Todd Phillips.

Among the movies that it will compete with for the Best Motion Picture – Drama title is "Marriage Story", the Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver-starring movie that garnered six nominations overall, including best actress and best actor nominees for the two leads.


Meanwhile, South Korean director Bong Joon Ho's much-acclaimed movie, "Parasite", is also in the running for several accolades, which include one for Foreign Language movie.
