Adidas is restocking its hit face masks sooner than you think.

The athletic powerhouse’s protective face coverings in a size extra small/small are set to become available again on June 15 at 3 a.m. ET, coming in black and blue colorways with a price tag of $16. Both color options will be ready to buy at Adidas.com.

The Adidas face mask features soft and breathable dual layers of recycled polyester and elastane for a washable and reusable design. With a tight fit for ultimate coverage, the face masks also incorporates stretchable ear straps and comes in packs of three.

On May 25, Adidas first released the $16 face mask, which sold out in minutes on the brand’s website. Three packs then hit the resale market and sold on eBay for $90. While price gouging, especially in the athletic and sneaker market is nothing new, specific products such as hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and protective equipment have soared during the current pandemic.

Adidas announced that for every pack purchased, $2 will be donated to Save The Children’s Global Coronavirus Response Fund, a worldwide effort to help ensure the health, safety and well-being of children in the face of the pandemic. Although the washable face mask is not medically graded, its sold-out status foreshadows a new market for athletic and other designer brands with a large following.

Adidas’ face cover follows the release of Adidas x Carbon’s 3D-printed face shields that debuted April. The two companies have worked together since 2017 to make 3D-printed footwear and recently shifted to focus on medical supplies in light of the pandemic. Adidas stated that Carbon is already producing more than 18,000 3D-printed face shields a week after it shifted its focus to medical supplies throughout its California facilities in March.
