15 Summer TV Shows Already Renewed, Canceled or Ending (Photos)

Summer 2016 was quite a season for TV. Click on to see which shows made it, which didn’t, and which are saying goodbye after long runs. “Zoo” (CBS) – RENEWED The thriller based on the James Patterson book is coming back for season 3. “Uncle Buck” (ABC) – CANCELED One and done for this low-rated family comedy with Mike Epps, based on the vintage John Candy movie. “Stranger Things” (Netflix) – RENEWED Well of course – the acclaimed homage to ’80s Spielbergian creep is getting a season 2. “Teen Wolf” (MTV) – ENDING The series announced at Comic-Con that its upcoming season 6 would be the last. The only animated Hollywood satire starring a talking horse that was renewed for season 4 this summer. Nothing official yet, but this political satire of Washington stupidity hasn’t been getting a lot of votes from viewers. “My Last Days” (CW) – RENEWED This docuseries from Justin Baldoni about patients with serious illnesses scored a season 2 renewal. “Match Game” (ABC) – RENEWED Part of ABC’s summer game-show rush this year, this one hosted by Alec Baldwin will be coming back. “Pretty Little Liars” (Freeform) – ENDING The teen mystery will end next summer after 7 seasons, it was announced in August. “Celebrity Family Feud” (ABC) – RENEWED Steve Harvey will stay employed as the game show returns.
