After getting to know each other, Gabrielle Union says she forgot all about the nine year age difference between her and her husband, Dwyane Wade.
"I assumed we'd have nothing in common, but once we started talking and texting it was like, whoa, who are you? I thought you were 12," Gabrielle told Essence.com. "I came to realize that he's basically Isaac Hayes trapped in a twenty-something body. He's an old soul.”
She also told Redbook magazine that she's a young 42 and he's an old 33, so it all just "balances out."
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have a lot in common — including starring on the same sitcom, That 70s Show. But when it comes to their personalities, they couldn't be more different.
"He's much more logical than I am. He's also very optimistic and I'm very pessimistic," Mila said on Live With Kelly and Ryan. Shortly after Becca Kufrin, the season 14 star of The Bachelorette, gave out her final rose, the newly engaged couple was forced to address their political differences head on when Garrett Yrigoyen was called out on Twitter for liking memes on Instagram that were sexist and homophobic.
"[I knew him] but it was still surprising. We had talked about things that were really important to me, like politically, religion, all of that. So for me to see that, it was tough at first," Becca told The Huffington Post. "I don't condone those memes. But again, I know how bad he felt and he did not mean to offend anyone."
Becca is a known Hillary Clinton supporter and participated in the Women's March, but ultimately feels Garrett's opinions are his own: "I am a strong woman and I do believe in certain things, but again, that's what's so great about our country — everyone is entitled to their own opinions."
Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard found out the hard way that when it comes to disagreements, they have completely different fighting styles.
"I loved slamming doors — I wanted a dramatic exit! But he, having worked through a variety of emotional issues to get sober, said, 'This isn't going to work. This isn't how I'm going to communicate for the rest of my life,'" Kristen told Good Housekeeping.
"When someone doesn't fight back and goes, 'I don't want to do this,' that threat is real. It makes you reevaluate your behavior. The way Dax and I argue now — and we argue a lot; we disagree on almost everything! — is so healthy," she says.

The "All of Me" singer said he had to adjust to his wife's blunt and outspoken personality — especially on social media. Although Joe Scarborough declared himself an independent this year after Donald Trump was elected, his wife told Marie Claire that he's "still conservative, he's got a lot of Republican in him."
"Joe has hope. He wakes up every morning knowing that the system will correct itself and the republic will be okay, and that what we have is a system of checks and balances. I am a lot more gloom and doom. I get really upset, and I feel that this president is going to do terrible damage to this country," Mika says.
