[20’s Choice Awards] Taetiseo, Busker Busker, the KOXX Takes Home Music Awards
At the Mnet’s 20’s Choice Awards held on June 26 at Seoul’s Banyan Tree Club and Spa the Oasis, Taetiseo, Busker Busker and the KOXX each took home music awards in the categories of ‘20’s Trendy Music’, ‘20’s Online Music’ and ‘20’s Band Music’.
Upon collecting their trophy, the Taetiseo members shared, “As it was our first [SNSD] unit we were worried, but we’re thankful for all the love we’ve received. We will work hard in the future to show a new side to ourselves and to return with great music.”
Following their win, the Busker Busker members said, “We’re so thankful so many people are listening to our music,” while the KOXX members said, “We’re happy to receive such a great prize.”
The ‘20’s Performance’ award was taken home by Hyuna and Hyun Seung for Troublemaker.
SISTAR unveiled its new song Loving You while Ailee, Daybreak, Monni and the KOXX took the stage for a special collaboration performance.
The 20’s Choice Awards was comprised of 20 different categories, with each winner determined by votes and polls by journalists, magazine editors, music directors and critics.
